Hazards can be natural or environmental and artificial or man-made. It affects everyone but is limited to the people surrounding its physical parameter.
Natural hazards – are those which human has no control over it. Rather, it is nature's natural course that made it occur. Such hazards are the following:
• Earthquakes
• storm surge
• tsunami
• volcanic eruptions
• typhoons
• wildfires
• avalanche
• landslides
• flash floods
Artificial or man-made hazards – are those that are caused by man due to negligence and/or abuse. These are the following:
• fire
• flash floods
• landslides
(Note: flash floods and landslides can both be natural and man-made)
